As far as Nola Chick’s concerned, the biggest game of the day takes place at Noon in the Superdome when the Jags take on the Saints. But for some odd reason, the media and millions of sports fans everywhere have their panties in a bunch over a game featuring two undefeated teams with stellar offenses. It’s the classic battle of good versus evil: the Pats versus the Colts.

Among the throngs anxiously counting down to what’s been not so cleverly dubbed “Super Bowl 41 1/2″ is a little someone we call “Indy Chick.” She’s got a lot on her mind today and she turned to us to let it all out. Indy Chick, the floor is yours….
So you’ve heard all the hype and all the trash talk, no not between the players, but the fans and the media. And you’ve probably read that, amazingly, my Colts are the first undefeated defending Super Bowl Champs to be underdogs at home. Weird, considering that when you look at the numbers, this match-up is pretty even. The Pats have the #1 rated passing offense while the Colts have the #1 rated passing defense… the Colts have the number 3 offense in the NFL while the Pats have the #3 defense… But as the “Indy Chick” my prediction is easy: THE COLTS ARE GOING TO WIN BABY!!!

Here’s why:

1) Battle of the Quarterbacks- Okay, so if Manning and Brady were walking down the street… who would cause you to do a double-take? Most likely the boyishly handsome Tom Brady, right? That is exactly why Peyton Manning is going to lead the Colts to victory… (think about it…)

2) Battleof the Coaches-Tony Dungy vs. Bill Beli- “chick”… (need I say more?)

3) Joseph Addai

4) Dallas Clark

5) Seriously Brady, you’re way too “precious” to deserve this win.

6) Hello! We’ve got our 12th man in the house!!! Home field advantage baby!!!!! We’re in the RCA Dome, making blue and white memories!

For those of you who don’t get what all the fuss is about, think about this: these teams have faced each other in 3 out of the last 4 post seasons and in every case, the winner of the regular season game went on to win the playoff game too. Is this picture starting to get a little clearer? I thought so…
