WHAT THE F*CK!!!!!

The BCS sucks. I still agree with that. But here’s what’s changed. LSU has a legitimate shot at the National Title game. I know, I know, it sounds crazy. But WVU and Missouri loss tonight. Georgia didn’t make it to a conference game, nor did Kansas. And we beat VT tech handily earlier in the season. All that means we should face off with Ohio State (or whoever) for the title. It’s fabulous. I’m too drunk to put it into words. Let’s let the Violent Femmes sum it up for me por favor.[youtube=http://youtube.com/watch?v=ocQeP1UOwss]

  1. Last night’s Pitt vs WV game was unreal. I sat there the whole time thinking, “I can’t believe this is happening,” and switching between that game and the Missouri / OU game.

    GO TIGERS!!!

If the BCS doesn’t put us in the National Championship they are retarded.

  2. Yesterday = Best. Day. EVER.

Holy crap. I “recovered” long enough for a hungover trip to the grocery store, but it begins again in about a half hour. Oh screw it, it begins again NOW.

Never in my sportsfan life have I experienced a single day where so many things had to go right, and they ALL did. Every single damned one of ‘em.

It was made all the sweeter by the way the day started, with Herbstreit’s telling us what we had all already resigned ourselves to. And then an hour later, it all just blew sky high and when the smoke cleared… just… holy crap. Talk about a momentum shift!

I will never forget that press conference. Ever. “Have a grrreat day.” So awesome. The only thing that could have possibly made it better is if he had hang-glided into the freakin’ stadium (which would have been hard, since it was the GA Dome) and made the announcement over the P.A. system.

I love that guy. LOVE that guy!

  3. I’m with you — LOVE him. And I loved “a damn strong football team.”

Just watching the clock, checking the polls, and waiting till 7 p.m. Is this really happening? Were all our planets in alignment or WHAT?

    2:39 p.m. A little over 4 hours.

  4. I have one happy LSU husband tonight. I just wish the game weren’t on a freakin’ school night, because he’s supposed to drive the kids on tuesday mornings…

  5. God Bless LSU. They’re all I have…
