But to beat the Patriots, you have to do a lot more than rattle Brady (a lesson the Chargers learned Sunday). To beat the Patriots, you have to hold the ball for 45 minutes, and you have to score touchdowns, not field goals. To beat the Patriots, you have to run for 150-plus yards on a defense that only allows an average of 80, and you have to do it early, because if you don't, you are going to be behind. To beat the Patriots, you have to be healthy. The Giants currently have three defensive backs and one offensive lineman nursing injuries. To beat the Patriots, you have do all these things and get a couple of breaks, and even then, it's not a sure thing. To beat the Patriots, you have to be, in a sense, perfect; which is exactly what New England has been all season long. Why Pats will win it all.
