i think my biggest beef with basketball is that there are sooooo many games. with football, every game counts. every game has so many implications. with basketball, a team can lose their first 20 games and still end up in the playoffs. it make me want to throw up in my mouth just a little bit. i can't help but appreciate the athleticism of basketball. i'll definitely try to warm up to bball this season.

Glad to see the Hornets doing so well. I think this season will be the test to see what kind of support the city can give them.

I know basketball can't possibly compare to the fun of football. It's way more stressful, all that running back and forth. There's not nearly enough time to chat during the game because the game hardly ever stops. And football uniforms are just so much sexier than basketball jerseys!

But, nevertheless, it's neat to be able to see the guys faces and get to know them by name. When you love a basketball team, it kind feels like they're family. Since there's way less guys on the team, you can learn more about them, and soon you're talking about them like you're bestfriends.

I don't think basketball can ever replace football as the best sport ever, but I do think you can learn to appreciate it for it's own reasons. And plus, it's also another excuse to hang with friends and drink large amounts of beer. And that's really all you need, right?
