Man Child Now a Man-ning

Kudos to you Elisha. You’ve taken a lot of $hit over the past few years from the New York media, from former teammates, and even from us Chicks. And while a lot of that was well deserved for your underthrown and errant passes, you stepped up when we needed you most. You silenced your critics, you made your family feel better about claiming you as a Manning, and most importantly, you made Bill Belichik stain his fire-red sweatshirt with the watermark of salty, devil tears. (And by the way Billy, it was real classy of you to walk through the tunnel before the game was even over, avoiding the traditional mid-field handshake with your opponent. Real smooth….you rotten schmuck!)

What a game, what a night, what a triumph for the New York football Giants and their boyishly adorable leader. My favorite part, other than the game winning touchdown, was watching Peyton cheer for his kid brother from the luxury suites. I couldn’t help but gush at the site. Elisha was doing what Peyton didn’t get a chance to do this postseason: crush the Pats in their quest for perfection. Peyton is quoted as saying he couldn’t control his emotions. Despite getting messages of the “keep your cool, you’re on TV” variety, Peyton was on fire. What a proud moment for he and papa Archie.

Just like the Mannings, we too are proud of you Elisha. In fact, from here on out, we’ll stop pointing and laughing at your girly sounding name. You’re truly “da man” now, so we’ll just call you Eli.

HELL yeah!!! It was a sight to behold! Hope this quiets the critics! I agree — Bellicheck’s early exit showed just what the man is made of.

I have to say, for being a team that’s now NEARLY impossible to beat, the Patriots are very classy in defeat. We have learned the player’s are classier than the coach.

Have I not been saying Eli has it in him???? What a dramatic coming of age! That last drive was incredible!

I love a good underdog win. And I love big brother manning, so any chance to see him on tv is good for me!

Did you see that interview with ole bill after the game. Boy, was he a pouty bitch or what? He was surlier than my girl after being told, “no you can’t have those 4″ high gold stilettos for school.”
