Sorry but after looking at that, I ain’t scared!
Sure we’ll have a tough time, as usual, with our division rivals. But we can take ‘em. And yeah, we’ve got some tough AFC match-ups against the Chargers and the Broncos. But aren’t those teams just about as unpredictable as the Saints? And what about the NFC North…the recharged Vikings, the retooled Bears, and the Brett-Free Packers? Quite honestly, the only game among those three that gets me queasy is the December prime-time match up against Da Bitch-Ass Bears. I can’t “bear” the thought of another agonizing four quarters watching those Windy City Wack-jobs make us look like a group of frozen peewee leaguers! On the bright side, wouldn’t it be nice to FINALLY get some sweet revenge?
Realistically speaking, the Saints will probably make me want to drown myself in a bottle of Vodka at least 4 or 5 times this upcoming season. Still, I take comfort in the notion that if they wanted to challenge the Pats in their second pursuit of perfection, they could.
Another schedule highlight, 3 prime time games and that London trip. Good to know we’re still gettin’ some R-E-S-P-E-C-T from the NFL. So the question remains; which of these games do you most look forward to? (Don’t worry, your answers will be graded on a curve.)

Whichever game I am at, that is the one I’m looking forward to.
I’m looking forward to the last four games when Coach starts resting his starters and we can get a good look at Brunell and Palko.
Hell, we might even see Meachem!
If we go 15-1, we’re losing to Detroit, so mark us down for a win!!!!
Here’s what I say:
Tampa Bay: Win
Washington: Win
Denver: Lose
San Francisco: Win
Minnesota: Win
Oakland: Lose
Carolina: Win
San Diego: Lose
BYE: Um…………………I’ll keep it to myself
Atlanta: Lose
Kansas City: Win
Green Bay: Win
Tampa Bay: Lose
Atlanta: Win
Chicago: LOSE
Detroit: Win
Carolina: (Depends on whether they decide they can actually hit #10, or finish 9-7 again) Toss Up!!
Final Record: Either 9-7 or 10-6, although I’m kinda being generous with that Green Bay game. That has mulligan written all over it.
Looking forward to both MNF games in the Dome. First time two MNF games have been in the Dome in a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY LONG TIME. I want a SUNDAY NIGHT GAME off of flexible scheduling though!!!
You cut me to the bone with that.
LOSE some games,
BUT
Denver
Oakland
Chicago
Atlanta
OUCH!
Scratch my cornea with that writing.
losing to atl is NOT an option. over my dead dog…and since Vick will still be locked up by then, I think we’re in the clear!
That’s my Cafe 641 boy, holdin’ down the half empty glass. Holla, Jake Who Dat! What loyal readers should take not of is Jake’s 10-6 prediction, which for the rest of us should feel like 13-3. It means the mojo is back, and if ya’ll didn’t know before, Jake’s aka . . . the Mojo. We’re talking about Upper Terrace Who Dat-ness that holds 2-3 Golden Spoons simultaneously, a Burger King voodoo doll of opposing players and wills third down incompletes and Marques Colston touchdowns. We’re talking black magic not seen on this side of the 50-yard line. But denver, oakland, chicago, and ATL? cut that in half, throw in a loss to another divisional rival.
Just watch.
