Chick Chattin’ With Vilma

Nothing whets a chick’s appetite more than fresh meat!  Just don’t tell that to the Saints’ newest defensive stud-muffin Jonathan Vilma.  Without even having to show off any “T&A”, Vilma has guaranteed the chicks some qualtity “Q&A”.  And since we know we’re not the only ones who want to know a lil sumphin-sumphin, we’re giving you a chance to get all up in Vilma’s grill.  (Sorry, when to sleep with MTV on.)

Just email the Chicks your questions for Vilma or leave them in the comments section. We’ll post the answers to the best questions on the site once the interview takes place. Be sure to include your name in the e-mail so we can give you credit for your oh-so-insightful query. You can make your questions as professional or profane as you please.   (Chef Who Dat, put your thinkin’ cap on…)

Who said I ever took it off? C’mon NOLA. I’ve been tappin’ my brain since February 4 working on possible gameday menu scenarios.

But, my real question is neither professional nor profane. And it’s not for Vilma. It’s for the Chicks. Can you give a little background on your connection to Deuce and Vilma? What’s your entry/access point? (you can answer professionally or w/ profanity).

Sorry. It’s the black and gold elephant in the room.

I’ve got a pretty simple one:
What is it about a player like Vilma (and the different formations) that makes him such a Billy Badass in the 4-3, but less effective in the 3-4? It’s something I’m just not understanding, conceptually. I’ve watched some of his highlights and he just looks like a damn good football player.
Also, let him know that he absolutely MUST beat the Broncos this year.

you know chef, i wish i had a witty retort or something in any way smart-alecky or adorable to answer your question, but i’m tapped out. Quite plainly it’s been a combination of dogged determination, charming personality, and just plain ole dumb luck!

How happy did it make Vilma to see the saints draft Ellis and Pressly to take up some blockers?

Mr. Vilma. Welcome to the Who Dat nation. We’re happy you’re here. All we ask is that you perform and comment at least once on the performance of your loyal Who Dat fans who make it rain noise while you’re at work every Sunday. A few questions for you, sir:

    1. What will be your role in the training camp hazing of Sedrick Ellis?

    2. After you return to Pro Bowl form this season, who of the following will you most enjoy knocking on their ass?
    a. Jeff Garcia
    b. Steve Smith
    c. Rex Grossman
    d. Matt Ryan

    3. Will you commit to listening to the Hot 8 Brass Band’s “Rock with the Hot 8″ and incorporate it into your sack celebrations?

Here is a question for JV:

What is he doing different to try and stay healthy for an entire season? What’s the key for him to do that?

Jonathan, do you have any plans to get involved/have you already gotten involved with any charitable organizations/Katrina relief efforts in the NO area?
