The (Black) & Golden Ticket

In less than 2 months, I Nola Chick will break the rules of my restraining order(s) by attending the Payton Play it Forward Foundation’s Black & Gold Gala. Also in attendance, some of my favorite stalking victims players from the black and gold squad. I’m talking Reggie Bush, Drew Brees, Scott Fujita, Deuce McAllister, Jeremy Shockey (a newer victim) and of course, Sean “Playa” Payton. Something tells me I better stock up on the roofies and duct tape…

The event is not just about schmoozing and ogling your favorite players. Money raised from the gala will go toward Brad Pitt’s Make it Right Nola, First Responders Fund and the Dr. Phil Foundation. The organizations will then use those donations for causes targeting children in Louisiana.

Individual tickets are still available for $250. That price includes an open bar, 5-star food and world class entertainment. Oh and did I mention the host of studly Saints who will be in the hiz-ouse?

If you plan on attending, drop me a line. Maybe we can meet at the bar. I’ll be the one in the fabulous dress struggling to maintain my composure. (Oh, and if it’s past 7, there’s a good chance I’ll be completely hammered.)

For more information on the Black and Gold Gala, check out the Payton Play it Forward Foundation’s official website.

Once again, thanks to Nola Chick for giving us the space to help Coach Payton and his wife Beth raise as many funds as possible to help those in need.

I for one, look forward to having a little huddle of chicks that night. Please take the time to introduce yourselves to me.

Thanks again and here’s to all of us Playing it Forward.
