Hit It and Quit It Tuesdays

Hit it!
Pierre Thomas showed a little swagger on Sunday against the Chiefs. He racked up 88 yards, averaged 5 yards a carry, and scored a touchdown. Lets hope he still gets a few touches after Reggie returns.

Quit it!
Letting the Chiefs put up 124 rushing yards the week before a meeting with Ryan Grant and the rest of the Pack is enough to give me the bubble gut. How bout you defensive line?

Hit it!
1st and goal on the Saints one is a guaranteed 6 right? Right? Not yesterday bitches! The defense held off the Chiefs and forced a field goal. That’s just the kind of confidence boost they’ll need heading into this dangerous portion of the schedule.

Quit it!
Drew Brees seemed a little off in Kansas City. Maybe it’s cheeky of me to expect 300+ yard passing games and a triple digit passer rating every week but damn it, it’s not my fault Drew spoiled us rotten.

Hit it!
Lance Moore now rivals Marques Colston in both hotness and talent in my book. The rising receiving star has obviously earned a spot as one of Drew’s go to guys. Week after week, he proves he deserves the distinction.

Quit it!
So the week I decide to start Billy Miller on my fantasy team is the week we decide not to let him take the field? Really?

Hit it!
So far we’ve only asked Gary Hartley to make modest field goals and extra points and he’s done it. Way to do your job!

Quit it!
I continue to require more from Jeremy Shockey. The least he could do is catch the catchable balls. I don’t ask for much.

Hit it!
It was nice to see the offensive line bounce back from that dismal showing in Atlanta. They’ll have their hands full next Monday night.

Hit it…again!
Randall Gay, Jeff Charleston, Roman Harper, Scott Fujita, and Usama Young all get props for making big defensive plays when it mattered most.
