Fact: The Lions are the first team to start 0-14 since 1980.
Fact: The last team to start 0-14 was the New Orleans Saints.
Fact: The New Orleans Saints have played four winless teams that were 0-7 or worse in their history and have lost every time.
And you thought Sunday’s game wouldn’t have any intrigue…
While we considered preparing a succulent Grilled Culpepper Steak or perhaps a Nothing to Lose Lasagna, we decided upon a more fitting tribute to this week 16 ratings disaster: Hot Win-Win Wings. You see, no matter what happens on Sunday, the Saints can’t lose. If they beat the winless Lions, they squash that terrible trend of ending up in every winless team’s victory reel. If they lose, they inch a little further up in the draft.
That could come in handy now that we know for sure the Saints’ won’t lose their 1st round draft pick from the Vilma deal. You see, instead of extending Vilma’s contract, the Saints will wait until he becomes a free agent.
If you’re trying to keep score, the Jets still get the Saints’ third-round pick, and the Giants will get New Orleans’ second-round pick as a result of the Shockey trade. The Saints will however get two fourth round picks. But I digress…
Thinking about our trade possibilities during Sunday’s game is sure to make you want to smash your head in with a tire iron. But don’t do it!! Instead, chillax and enjoy our delightfully refreshing Chick Sip: A Lion’s Den Gimlet.
Hot Win-Win Wings
3 lbs hot wings/drumettes
1 bottle Tabasco Sauce (Don’t you dare get that other crap!)
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
Rub wings/drumettes with pepper and garlic powder and marinate in hot sauce overnight. Top wings with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degress for one hour. Serve hot!
Lion’s Den Gimlet
1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Lime Juice
1 tsp Powdered Sugar
Ice
Shake mixture with ice and strain into a glass. Top with a lime. Don’t forget to toast Drew Brees for being the only Saint to make it to the Pro Bowl!

I’m sticking with the gimlets. Nothing says’ “Happy Birthday” like the possibility of losing to the Lions.
True dat! When’s the big bday?
We actually took the time to make a recipe for an 0-14 team?
