When your star tight end ends up as the lead story on TMZ, it can’t be good.

Seems as though Jeremy Shockey needs a lesson from Nola Chick in partying hard…without the public pass out. According to the gossip site, Shockey had to be taken out of a party called “Rehab” (insert obvious drunkard joke here) at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on a stretcher. The official word from the Saints is that he was taken to the hospital for dehydration and he’s doing fine.

The first question we asked after seeing the images on TMZ…”Is that the dude from ‘The Wrestler?’” Second question: “Really Jeremy Shockey?” Third question: “Really?”

Something tells us this isn’t the kind of offseason publicity this dude needs after a suckey first season with a new team. Do better. Oh, and here’s a rule to add to your playbook. “Liquor before beer, you’re in the clear.”
