Dirty Tid-Bits

Lots of small news…no big news…so I’ll let you guys and dolls know whats what

  • Michael Vick officially released from his contract with the Falcons…I suppose this is news but everybody already knew this was coming, so its not a ‘big’ as it seems. vickthinkVick is still suspended from the NFL as well, so the contract release is kind of 2nd fiddle.
  • Georgia Dome gets new widescreen TV screens for our viewing pleasure, unless of course you have end-zone seats, then you’d better have 20/20 vision!
  • Falcons add (more) 09Draft picks to the roster.  William Middleton (CB) and Vance Walker (DT)…fun fact, I know William Middleton-I met him and his former teammate Jerome Felton at a Waffle House right before the draft…isn’t that odd? Small World.
  • Falcons’ Defensive Coordinator Brian VanGorder speaks out about the direction of the defense this year, taking into consideration the Dirty’s newest acquisitions.
  • Falcons Offense is a hotbed for Fantasy Football stars–like is this even news to us LOYAL fans?  I don’t think so but the rest of the world may need some catching up…

VanGorder has some interesting points, wonder what he’s working out schematically. Falcons Chick you gotta get up to Flowery Branch and watch some practices and report back!
