Hit it and Quit it Tuesdays

Hit It!
2nd best freakin’ Saints game I’ve ever been to with the exception of the Saints first game in the Dome after Hurricane Katrina. My voice has yet to return.

Hit it…again!
To all you Saints players who came around to thank your fans, know that we appreciate you as much as you appreciate us.

Hit it..one more time!
Darren Sharper. Oh you know why!

Can I get a Hit it? Yes you can!
There is no doubt that Drew Brees is our leader. He convinced the coach to go for it on 4th down and changed the momentum of the game. He didn’t relent, despite being picked off and sacked and brutalized by Miami’s defense. He never gave up. I am now a certified Drew Brees groupie!! (Oh admit it fellas, you are too!)

Quit it!
Where was our O-line in the first half of the game?

Hit it!
Jeremy Shockey, you can stiff arm me for a 66 yard gain any day.

Quit it!
A missed field goal and a missed extra point two weeks in a freakin row. Let’s not do this Carney…

Hit it!
Courtney Roby, your 87 yard run was like a shoe sale at Nordstrom’s with a free wine and shrimp po boy buffet while Darren Sharper rubs your feet. Simply heavenly.

Wait. What day is this? I’m all discombobulated. This ain’t February? You go ahead and do your thing with Shockey. I’ll wait in line until our Miami return visit. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go pour myself another 6-0 Tuesday afternoon drink.

I think that we should start a new ’second line song’ called “WHEN THE SUN REFUSE TO SHINE THE BREES COMES OUT” Kinda like…
“O when the sun refuse to shine o’when the sun refuse to shine,
we know the BREES will RUN right out, when the sun refuse to shine.”
HOW BOUT IT LADIES? (just add to that) HA! HA! HA!

Man, the first part of that game was excruciating! Having a Saints/Dolphins fan in my house did not help either…

But those magic men turned it on in the second half, almost like they were just playin with the Dolphins in the first half, let them get cocky, then they came back to devour them. So sweet.

Oh, and Shockey’s stiff arm solidified my Shockey crush, oh Lord!

Having been a Saints fan since I was a little girl, I know you all know it too….this is the season we have been waiting our whole lives for….WHO DAT!
