You know what they say–“When in Tennessee, do as the Tennesseeans do.” And that means I’m going to annoy everyone around me tomorrow by exclaiming in true country fashion with phrases like “sweet niblets” and “ye doggy” all afternoon (courtesy of a certain TV show I might occasionally watch when there’s nothing else on).
The Bills take on the 2-6 Titans tomorrow and all we can do is cross our fingers and hope for the best. We’re coming off a MUCH needed bye week so hopefully during that time:
a) Somebody explained the game to our OLs and taught them how to block.
b) Trent Edwards–who will be starting again–watched tape from the last two games and realized that the QB can, in fact, throw the ball.
c) Dick Jauron realized that primarily using one RB worked for the first three weeks so he should start doing it again because it allows them to get into a rhythm…but really just because we only have one RB that can make any plays and he goes by the name of Fred Jackson.
d) The majority of our defense managed to stay healthy. While three starters are out (Terrence McGee, Keith Ellison and Kyle Williams) with Donte Whitner, Poz, Byrd and Schobel we should be golden. Byrd should feel free to continue his multiple interception streak.
e) Special teams is prepared to NOT let the January 2000 fiasco happen again.
We’re wearing our throwbacks. Maybe the Bills can play like the throwback team I barely remember. Jim Kelly will be at the game…perhaps that will put a little pep in their step and light a spark under their bums. If they’re planning on turning this season around, this would be the last week to do it and what better way than to take down the Titans. Ever since what was supposed to be my Peerless’ game-winning TD in 2000 was turned irrelevant by the Titans’ kick-off return TD that won the game, I’ve been a Titans hater through and through.
GO BILLS!!!

I used to love to hate Jim Kelly! Then he retired, and I didn’t have to hate him anymore. Nowadays, believe or not, I’m saying, “Hey, that Jim Kelly is a good guy.” Maybe the throwbacks will help! But, gosh, I hope not! Somebody needs to make the Dolphins look good…
haha I love the compliment amidst the wishes for the failure…what if we combine forces so both of OUR teams pull off a win and that triggers something in the universe that causes our other 2 rivals to epically lose??? Maybe two sucky teams together is the key to making miracles happen…or not…
Oh man, a PTSD game. Good luck!
And what show has the saying “sweet niblets”? I feel so out of touch that I don’t know.
Omg that’s from Hannah Montana. (I used to be a nanny…long story). Don’t feel out of touch ha ha
