All right, so the Jets and Bucs didn’t play head-to-head, and they both lost. Therefore, I think we need a little third-party assistance to determine the winner. Or, really, the loser. Semantics.
Of course a game is more than stats, but I think some stats will help those of you who might have missed the games. So check out the info below (or wait until wrap-ups are published later this week), and let us know in the comments who you think wins the title of Suckiest Team of the Week.

My vote goes to the Bucs..Although since I’m their NFC South rival, I can’t say I’d ever vote for them not to suck!
I got the unfortuanate privilidge of watching the Jets game today, and they really suck, they were so pitiful against the lowly Jags, meanwhile the Bucs played quite well against the Wildcat Dolphins.
I motion to enter the Bears in the Suckfest as write-in candidates. We will probably lose 90% of the remaining games in our season and did you watch us play on Thursday night? Or the Sunday before that? Or the Sunday before that?
I think we should think about giving the award to a group that has earned it “by committee.” The AFC East deserves some kind of dubious honor for the way they all (well, all but Lurch-led team) played so poorly this weekend.
Can I vote for myself? Look at the final stats? They did better in just about every category. *sigh*
While I hate the Bucs, I hate the Jets even more (it’s a Marc Gastineau thing and I swore to myself as a child that I would never pull for the Jets unless they were playing the Pigeons from Atlanta). Yet, looking over these stats, I must go with the Jets as the suckiest team.
Nevertheless, I agree with Bears Chick that we should consider writing in the Bears onto this list. I found Thursday night’s game atrocious and it hurt my southern sensibilities. I’m still trying to recover losing those three hours of my life.
