Can They Avoid The Expected Beatdown?

So while Rex Ryan is drying his tears, what the rest of us are noticing is that the next game on the schedule is against the Patriots.

On the bright side? They can’t sweep the Jets-since they won the week 2 game that made us all think they might actually be good this year.  The not so bright side? They’re coming off a tough loss to Indy, and will be looking to dish out a beat down of epic proportions.

So I’m not expecting much outside of more tears at the next post game.  Why would I? The Jets now sit at 4-5, and don’t seem to know which way is up. Two of their best players are out for the season, and the ones left behind haven’t exactly been lights out. Or even lights on.

Sanchez and co. will be going up against a defense with something to prove to both themselves, and the media who made such a big deal over Bellicheat “going for it” last week. Skeletor will be trying to show he can complete for first downs against anyone, and they are no doubt remembering what happened week two.

Yeah, it’s not looking good for my team right now, and if they want to win, all the mistakes they’ve been making will have to disappear stat. The defense will have to step up and play the way it did the first couple of weeks, and the turnovers and bad decisions will have to stop completely.

Should be interesting-if you’re a glutton for punishment. Otherwise? Another bloody Sunday on deck.

It ain’t easy being green.
