Because there were four to choose from in this contest that were in the running for most devastating. Or maybe it was the fumble? Meh.
Of course my vote goes to the one in the waning minutes of the fourth, that actually would have put the Jets in a position to score and come within 3. Instead, the Jets were beaten thoroughly-as fully expected.
They showed some flashes on Defense-only allowing only a touchdown in the second half, but the turnovers again proved costly-and allowed the Patriots an extra 14 points.
So for the third week in a row (thank goodness for the bye) the Jets came out and disappointed fans in their own inimitable way, and validated every not so nice thing the pundits have been saying all along.
I have run out of ways to describe how bad the Jets have turned out to be. It’s like one really long, really bad movie that’s on loop, on every channel.
I’m sure there will be comedy in the press conferences, and I’m quietly hoping to see Rex Ryan cry again. Everyone knew what was going to happen in this game, but time after time we see Young Mark Sanchez make mistakes that prove Pete Carroll was right about his ability in his assessment.
I’m hoping that this season is going to be on the job training, and that next year (yes, I’m already looking to next year) he proves to be better than what he is now.
They’re killing me. The coach who bit off more than he could chew (shocking), the rookie QB who plays more like a high school player than a pro.
Oh well. I guess we know who the embarrassment Rex Ryan talked about earlier in the season really belongs to.
