Come out of that food coma Peyton…it’s time to play!

manning_boysI’m sure the Mannings had a great not so great Thanksgiving. Daddy Archie, Mom, Cooper, Peyton and their families all tuning in to watch baby bro Eli play on Turkey Day. Oops the Giants got throttled by the Broncos so now once again MVP Middle Brother must save the weekend.

This will be no easy task for Perfect Peyton as he takes on division foe Houston Sunday afternoon. Indy holds a three-game lead in the chase for the AFC’s top seed and its 19-game winning streak is the second-longest in NFL history behind New England’s 21-game run from 2006-08. However, it seems to get harder every week to keep winning. The Colts have won their last four games by a combined 10 points. YIKES!

 Here’s a quick recap:

Nov. 8th- We needed Houston’s kicker to miss…nuff said.

Nov. 15th- We needed Bill Belichick to have a brain fart.

Last week- Gary Brackett saved the game with less than 3 minutes left.

Colts fans everywhere are in need of a blowout win. But then again…a wins a win.

The Texans are coming off a heartbreaking ” Oh God please don’t let Vince Young beat us again” loss to the Titans. Plus their kicker Kris Brown missed a game changing field goal in that one too. The Texans know they need to win every game to have any shot at the playoffs. Unfortunately for them the Colts just seem to know how to win. They have won ONE game against the Colts in their franchise lifetime.

I’d say good luck to Houston but as a Titans/Peyton Manning fan… I hate the Texans more than any team I can think of at the moment.
