After a win and an extremely short week, the Jets are traveling to Toronto to face the Bills in the Rogers Centre for the Thursday night game.
With both teams having not so great records, and coming off wins, the Jets are looking to avoid the season series sweep.
The Jets will look to not make the same mistakes (turnovers and missed kicks) that cost them the first game, and will look for a similar performance from the defense.
After a visit from Joe Girardi of my World Champion New York Yankees this week, Rex Ryan is hoping that Sanchez will be better able to protect himself from the Bills defense and learn to slide rather than hit the deck awkwardly. He will probably be looking to scramble more, since the Jets passing game has been virtually non existent.
Luckily, the Rogers Centre is indoors, and this should bode well for Mark Sanchez-as he won’t be exposed to Canadian cold or Buffalo snow on this go round.
It should actually be a pretty good game-since both teams are feeling confident and need the win.
I’m expecting Darrelle Revis to shut down Terrell Owens, a great running attack from Jones and Greene, and just enough of a passing game to keep the Jets out of any serious trouble.
Bottom feeding isn’t the goal here-a win is. Here’s hoping they play well enough to get one.
