Thanks to Brett Favre and his inability to make retirement decisions and stick to them, th
ere will be no Christmas this year for Bears fans around the world. But look at the bright side, the four people out there who wear Wrangler jeans will be happy to see that their favorite spokesperson is still trucking along.
All things considered, Sunday’s game wasn’t that awful. The Bears defense was strong, especially in the first half. We had the Vikes beloved Adrian Peterson droppin’ the ball like it’s hot, and of course we recovered those fumbles. The problem is, we didn’t convert those turnovers into points.
That being said, our offense wasn’t terrible. I’m proud to note that Cutler had a better passer rating than Favre during the first quarter or so of the game. It’s too bad that no one informed the Bears offense that we needed to play for 60 minutes, not just 15. That would have been wRONg Turner’s job, which by now is hopefully on the line.
I’m past the point of having any hope for our 2009 season. My new hopes and dreams are centered around eliminating the ineptitude that is our coaching staff. All I want for Christmas is a new offensive coordinator, a date with Jay Cutler, and for the Vikings to get knocked off in the playoffs. I hope Santa complies with my wishes. After all, I haven’t been that naughty.

Hahah love it. Though I fear I’ll be torn if the Vikings make it to the Super Bowl. I just want Favre to win something already and retire once and for all…
Don’t worry, Packers Chick, he won’t make it to the Superbowl. Our boy Drew will…
And, BC, here’s to looking to the holiday season 2010?
Worry not Packers chick, we’ll be tearing you a new one in Soldier Field. Hoo ha !
