Hit It and Quit It Bucs-Style: Week 13

So little to say that I haven’t already.
Except this: Bah Humbug. ‘Tis the season.

Hit It: After a horrible start, the defense shored itself up and allowed only 6 points in the final three quarters. (Hey, that’s really good for us!)

Quit It: Josh Freeman threw 6 INTs, including 3 in the red zone. That’s 8 INTs in the last two games.

Hit It: Joshy F. is still the Bucs’ best hope for the future. Plus, he did have 321 passing yards. Just none that counted.

Quit It: Peanut Smith, arguably the team’s best player, was placed on IR after suffering his second concussion of the season. No point jeopardizing his future for this team.

Hit It: Sammie Stroughter is a formidable replacement for Peanut. Like Smith, he shows no fear in his run-backs.

Quit It: SI’s Peter King called the 2003 Bucs v. Colts Monday Night game the “best regular season game” of the decade. Um, try the “worst football game in the history of the world which caused certain people by the name of Bucs Chick to cry hysterically and tear down everything that was hanging on the walls of her apartment.” I’ll go ahead and let Peter King know he needs to update his post.

Hit It: Former Bucs’ safety John Lynch did a lovely job color-announcing this week’s game, but my favorite part was learning Ronde Barber’s nickname: The Little Chihuahu. Ha.

Geez, Ronde, the Bucs are bad, but becoming a Lion isnt the answer!

Quit It: Losing 11 games so far.

Hit It: Say it with me now: “Ndamukong Suh! Ndamukong Suh! Ndamukong Suh!”
(It’s pronounced: en-dom-ah-ken soo)
