I hate Thursday night games on NFL network. I like the national implications of this game and many fans will have to hear about it through various media outlets. Sigh. Fine. What’s at stake in this game you ask. Plenty. After the Tennessee Titans and the New England Patriots the Jaguars are a HUGE rival for the Colts. These two teams have had great games the latest coming in Week 1 of the season. The Colts defeated the Jags 14-12 in a defensive struggle that gave us no indication the boys in blue would still be undefeated late in the season. Now Indy has a chance to go 14-0 and remain undefeated along with the Saints. The Jaguars need to win this game to keep their Wild Card playoff hopes alive. The big question remains…how long will the starters play. Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne say they will play. They just never tell us for how long. If the first team stays in ,look for the Colts to take control of the game early. There’s no need to question motivation. There’s the chance to go 16-0. The Jags are a division rival and let’s face it Peyton loves to play no matter what. The Jags could pull the upset however because they have to. If they want to get into the playoffs this is a MUST WIN. Should be a great watch. If you can find it.
