Overtime losses are always so hard to swallow. I really don’t want to talk about this game. They were down, they were up, and they were down again. And so went my heart. Football stinks. Let’s be realistic. It’s game over for this season and any playoff hopes. I guess I was crazy to even entertain the notion that if we made the playoffs anything would be different this year. The tradition of late for Miami is making the playoffs only to be utterly embarrassed in the first round. So, really, it’s no big loss, right? Bah!

How well I know that feeling. The Saints are usually in the same boat, if, indeed, Dolphins get into boats! This year, despite losing the last 3 games, we ARE in the playoffs. Now, if we can only win our way through the Super Bowl. Hope springs eternal, you know.
