The Glazers have officially announced that Raheem Morris will be back as head coach next year.

Based on what I’ve read of the fan reaction thus far, every season ticket holder in Tampa will be forfeiting his/her tickets this offseason.

Bill Cowher was the popular fan choice for head coach, though he never suggested that he was interested in the Tampa job. And let’s face it, it’s a mess of a job right now. Also interesting to note, Cowher won a single Super Bowl in 15 years with the Steelers (a number of SB wins that ties a certain ex-Buc coach whom many fans disliked rather vehemently).

It remains to be seen whether rehiring Coach Rah was the right choice for the team, but I think the decision was fair.
