Excited isn’t the word. There is no word that I know of in English or German to describe how I feel about this game. The two teams played a few weeks ago, which ended spectacularly for the Patriots. I especially loved how Tebow ran 29 yards in the wrong direction before being sacked. I expect that the Broncos have learned a thing or two from that loss, and I’m sure the Patriots have learned a thing or two from that win.
The only thing that makes me nervous (ok, I’m always nervous anyway) is that the Patriots have a less-than-stellar record coming off of bye weeks. Last year they dropped the game to the Jets, year before to the Ravens. This season they dropped their game against the Steelers after the bye week.
That said. This is the playoffs. This is the Patriots. This is a team led by Tom Brady. This team has offensive weapons like Wes Welker, Rob “Can’t Cover Me” Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, and Deion Branch. This is a team with defensive stars Vince Wilfork, Patrick Chung, Brandon Spikes, Kyle Arrington, Jerod Mayo and Devin McCourty. After all, how many season and career records do Patriots players hold? Yeah, a lot more than Denver can say.
This is the game the Patriots will win. There’s a time for Tebow, and then there’s a time for Brady. Screw Tebow time, Brady’s going to show you how it’s done.
