Poor baby Drew…
I have been away from the sight since the start of the season. I know we are all disgusted by what is happening, or what isn’t happening. But you know, I love my team and will continue loving them. Before the first game, I really had a special feeling that this season would be remarkable, while keeping a level head that it could very well be a complete and utter shit show. Unfortunately for us, Shit Show it is.
Our team has been completely dismantled by Goodell and his ego of SUCK, our guys just don’t seem on it at all, the replacement refs took the W from us a few times (when we weren’t busy dropping passes).
I really and truly felt like this was what we needed to really come out and dominate all the way to the Super Bowl in the Dome. Screw Goodell, Screw the NFL, we were gonna take it! Sad thing is, it has done the opposite. Our boys are lost out there, the freakin Interim-Interim Coach looks lost everytime the camera pans to him, and all I can hear is Drew promising they will right the ship. Drew I love you, but I think this is going to be a loooooong season for the fans and the team (and Sean Payton, too.)
I will still watch every game, I will still drink the black and gold shot when you score a TD, I will still wear my Jimmy Graham Jersey every Friday and Sunday, but Goodell has really taken the fun out of watching Saints football and dammit, I can’t talk shit on FB and message boards anymore! Screw you Goodell!
So, hang in there ladies, we have been through worse seasons in the past (do I need to bring up Aaron Brooks, Bobby Hebert and pretty much the first few decades of our club’s existance??)
Just have the alcohol handy and be sure not to drink and drive after you get completely shit faced watching the Shit Show. Love you ladies and love our Saints!
