What started out as a promising series taking us behind the scenes of NFL training camp for an in-depth look at the league’s hottest teams, has now resorted to following… the Bengals (again). The HBO series “Hard Knocks” revealed that after getting rejected more than Mark Zuckerberg in high school, Cincinnati’s squad will once again let producers to invade training camp with camera crews in tow. Perhaps if this were say, any year between 2005 and 2008, when Bengals players were spending more time taking mugshots than running drills, we’d be slightly intrigued. But no one cares about the Bengals during the actual season. Who will tune in to watch them when it doesn’t count?
