NFL Hiring Tattoo Experts? Thanks, Aaron Hernandez

Is there a hidden, sinister message behind all that ink on Colin Kaerpernick’s gloriously tatted up pecs? That’s what some NFL teams may soon try to find out. Thanks to Murder McKillerstein, aka former Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez, teams are said to be exploring the possibility of hiring police to examine player tattoos for signs of gang ties.

It’s rumored that Hernandez, who is accused of killing a man execution style and possibly being tied to a double murder, may have ties to the Bristol Bloods street gang. In light of that, according to CBS’ Bruce Feldman, the league could start treating player tattoos as more than a fashion statement. That’s despite the fact that there were plenty of other indicators that Hernandez was a bad apple that have absolutely nothing to do with his body art. Good luck with getting this one by the player’s union.
