As the 2-2 Green Bay Packers face the reigning Super Bowl Champions, I believe that we will definitely see a more confident Green Bay Packers team. I think that last week’s win against the Detroit Lions showed them that, on both sides of the ball, they have what it takes to be a force in the NFC North.
The key to success for the Packers lies in the hands of our Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. In order for Rodgers to be effective, our offensive line has to be impenetrable. When given time, Rodgers will find the open man (He is currently averaging 333 passing yards per game). Also, our entire offensive arsenal needs to be at Rodgers disposal. Key playmakers like Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Jermichael Finley need to be on their A-game. The team has also stressed the importance of having a rushing game that matches our elite passing game. In order to do that, running back rookies Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin must step up to the plate.
Our defense has been nothing less than a well-oiled machine as of lately, so I expect that players like Clay Matthews, Johnny Jolly,A.J. Hawk and rookie Datone Jones will penetrate the Raven’s weak offensive line and possibly bump Joe Flacco up a spot on the most sacked Quarterback list (he is currently 9th, with 14 sacks).
Overall, I’m expecting a win for the Packers…it won’t be a blowout, but I’m expecting us to maintain a solid lead for most of the game. GO PACK GO!
