Sideline Sexy: Another New Girl in Another Huddle
Who she is: Jennifer Wicks, the new female announcer/spokesperson for ABC in Chicago’s Sunday morning football show “Chicago Huddle.” She shares the role with another Sideline Sexy, Shae Peppler.How her interest in football began: Although Wicks grew up in Evanston, Illinois, it didn’t make her an automatic Bears fan or even a football fan for that matter. But, that all changed when she went away to school at one of the biggest football colleges out there. “The emphasis was on the Bulls [growing up]. I was more of a basketball fan, but then I went to Florida State.”

Sideline Sexy: New Girl in Another Huddle
Who she is: Shae Peppler, the new female announcer/spokesperson for ABC in Chicago’s Sunday morning football show “Chicago Huddle.”How she got the gig: The old fashioned way … a contest. “One of my best guy friends said you should try out for this. He saw it in a newspaper ad,” Peppler says. “I thought ‘How embarrassing.’”
But, the friend convinced Peppler and when she arrived at the audition, she says “You would have thought it was American Idol auditions. I instantly got nervous. I thought maybe this could be a good thing.”

Let’s get our minicamp on–Part 1
The first day of sexy, sweaty, sometimes shirtless, spandex clad butts running around Bills minicamp wrapped yesterday and the emphasis was on a no-huddle offense. As my girl Chelsea Handler would say, “I like it, I like it a lot.” What’s so thrilling about a no-huddle offense that can get Bills Chick riled up on this cloudy, sluggish day? Well, it’s the tactic legendary Bills QB Jim Kelly was the king of. That can mean only one thing, which is that this team is serious about revamping their style to become AFC East and NFL contendors–if kickin’ it Buffalo old school (well, ’90s style) is how they’re doing it, so be it.
