The NFL's new domestic violence policy is sadly already about to get put to the test. New Orleans Saints linebacker Junior Galette is under investigation for allegedly pushing a woman to the ground outside of his Kenner home. A couple of years ago, this may have been an altercation that barely made it onto the league's radar. Does Saints’ Road to Playoffs Start Now?

Let's ignore the fact that it's week 14 for a second, shall we? That's because in many ways, the New Orleans Saints' season starts this Sunday. They are 5-7 and tied with the Atlanta Falcons at the top of the NFC South. And if they win their remaining games, their once seemingly impossible shot at the postseason will become a reality. Whoulda thunk it? I for one...didn't. After all, this team put on a lackluster prime time performance against the Baltimore Ravens at home just a few weeks ago. In fact, they went 0-3 in their middle of the season, "yeah we totally got this", home game stretch. Oh there's just nothing like getting the snot kicked out of you on national television to send you into a crippling depression. I'll admit it Saints fans, I'm spoiled. I'm just not used to seeing OUR team get embarrassed anymore. What happened in Seattle is what the Saints do to other teams. It's just not something I've had to deal with for years now and I forgot what it felt like.
