Heartbreak in OT
Reasons to love Thursday’s loss against the Steelers:
- The Titans got to kick off this season of the NFL… pretty cool.
- Our defense proved that they can still dominate without that one huge guy on the line… what was his name again?
- We have wide receivers?? This can’t be correct. Finally, a semblance of a balanced offense!
- Regardless of the outcome, the game was still awesome to watch. Excitement, overtime, hard hits and crazy plays? Yes please.
Time To Rock & Roll

This Sunday marks the beginning of yet another season of Jets football. Since 1982, I have watched and waited to see a Jets team come out and do something special. This season, with a new head coach and QB, a lot of us fans have high expectations about how this season is going to turn out, while the pundits are not so positive. But for some odd reason, the media and millions of sports fans everywhere have their panties in a bunch over a game featuring two undefeated teams with stellar offenses. It’s the classic battle of good versus evil: the Pats versus the Colts.
Among the throngs anxiously counting down to what’s been not so cleverly dubbed “Super Bowl 41 1/2″ is a little someone we call “Indy Chick.” She’s got a lot on her mind today and she turned to us to let it all out. Indy Chick, the floor is yours….
Countdown to Kickoff: T-3
We’ve drafted our fantasy football players, ordered the NFL package, and bought our fashionable new Deuce jerseys in a bright white with black trim which we’ll wear for away games. (Wearing the pink Reggie jersey for home games seemed to suit us well last season.) The case of Corona is in the fridge (along with some cheap stuff we’ll share with the guests), the Hurricane mix is stocked, and the red beans will soon be soaking. So to answer your question ESPN: Yes, we ARE ready for some football.
