Will Michael Vick Get “Dogged” As an Eagle?
Oh admit it, you didn’t see this one coming. Sure you knew Michael Vick would likely sign with a team, but in your wildest dreams (or nightmares) could you have predicted that team would be the Philadelphia Eagles? Don’t lie to yourself. You never saw it coming.
Soon after ESPN’s Chris Mortenson answered the lingering question of the embattled quarterback’s team destiny, a flurry of new questions immediately sprung to mind.
What a Chick Wants, What a Chick Needs
Since we didn’t get what we wanted for Christmas (a Saints playoff appearance) nor what we wanted for Valentines Day (a butt naked Reggie Bush/Marques Colston/Lance Moore/Pierre Thomas doing our laundry before making us breakfast), we figure with our collective birthdays coming up, third time’s a charm. And so, we hereby offer you the Chicks’ 3 wishes for the Saints this offseason.
Rankin’ the Rooks
For Pierre Thomas, it’s Tracy Porter. For Marques Colston, it’s Sedrick Ellis. But for Nola Chick, the selection for most exciting/favorable Saints rookie hasn’t been easy. Sure Porter and Ellis are the easy choices, but what about our soon to be full-time kicker, Taylor Mehlhaff? And are there any sleeper studs out there, as in a Pierre Thomas of the rookie class, who will wow us all come regular season and make the Saints front office look like geniuses? (Or is it genii?)
