We're now about 24 hours away from the start of NFL Free Agency's open market, which means we can finally start freaking out about who may be going where (unlike NFL Network and ESPN, who have been freaking out for weeks.) Who could blame us for waiting until the last minute? It's not exactly like last off-season, when we had the "Peyton Manning Sweepstakes" to entertain us. This time around, it's second tier stars like Ahmad Bradshaw and Greg Jennings. They're not exactly Prom Kings but you'd still be excited if they asked you to the big dance. Oh Vinny Young. It seems like just a few years ago you were losing your mind as quarterback of the Tennessee Titans. Now, you're broke, jobless and apparently a future Weight Watchers spokesperson due to a Cheesecake Factory addiction. They grow up so fast! We learned this week that not only did Vince Young squander away $26 million over his six year career, but we also heard rumors about just what he may have wasted his money on. Apparently Vince just loves him some Louisiana Chicken Pasta from Chessecake Factory (and who among us doesn't?) because he reportedly dropped about $5k a week at the restaurant during his rookie season. ...apparently a whole mess of stuff, according to the average American. And I thought it was just me and my fellow chicks who suffered from an odd, unhealthy obsession with the game. But nope, it turns out the rest of you are a bunch of weirdos, too! Hooray!! According to a survey run by CouponCabin.com (I know, I know...but just hear me out), 20% of people said they would miss a loved one's funeral if their favorite team was in the game. (Say what?!!!) 21% would miss an important work responsibility and 20 percent would miss the wedding of a close friend. I'm not happy. Eagles at Dolphins, Sunday, December 11, 2011 Stud of the week: the ENTIRE defense. Three forced fumbles, about a zillion sacks, three third-and-short stops, two fourth-and-short stops, a goal-line stand, another Kurt Coleman pick, and a partridge in a pear tree. Casey Matthews even managed three tackles and a sack! (Also, Shady's one rushing TD from tying Steve Van Buren's record that's stood since 1945. 66 years! So see, the Eagles' aversion to running the football clearly predates Andy Reid. Kidding!) It was so bad, Tony Sparano lost his job. Sure, we all knew that was coming, but in week 14? Harsh.
