Hit It and Quit It, Fins Fashion

Miami 14 – Jacksonville 10
Hit It: Pat White! Usually a Hit It celebrates something that happened in the game. I’m celebrating what didn’t happen this time. Woo hoo! Someone out there heard my weekly cries of “Oh, not again!” and “What in the world?!” I guess Sparano or Henning finally got a clue and left Pat White out of the lineup.
Quit It: Dan Carpenter. He must have heard me whining about too many field goals each week. He missed one! Okay, Danny boy, kick ‘em all you like! I’ll take the points any way we can get them from now on!
Week 14, Miami vs. Jacksonville: Not Half Bad!

It was the best of times.
At times, Chad Henne looked like a seasoned pro. He completed a team-record 17 consecutive passes. A Dolphins passing record not held by Marino? No, you’re eyes aren’t fooling you–you read that correctly. Well, I’ll be! Ricky had another 100 yard game again, pounding away. Polite did it again on fourth down. The defense was in top form. Miami went up 14-0 and looked like they would win handily. The Dolphins were a breath of fresh air.
