Let’s get our minicamp on–Part 1
The first day of sexy, sweaty, sometimes shirtless, spandex clad butts running around Bills minicamp wrapped yesterday and the emphasis was on a no-huddle offense. As my girl Chelsea Handler would say, “I like it, I like it a lot.” What’s so thrilling about a no-huddle offense that can get Bills Chick riled up on this cloudy, sluggish day? Well, it’s the tactic legendary Bills QB Jim Kelly was the king of. That can mean only one thing, which is that this team is serious about revamping their style to become AFC East and NFL contendors–if kickin’ it Buffalo old school (well, ’90s style) is how they’re doing it, so be it.
Welcome to Buffalo, boys!

Nelson could be considered one of the most polished tight ends we've had. (No pun intended)
The Bills must know I’ll be devoting even more of my life to them this year because they were kind enough to give me four more pieces of eye candy on day two of the draft. Thanks, guys!
Buffalo addressed their next big need right off the bat when they grabbed Southern Miss tight end Shawn Nelson in the fourth round. I’ve scoped out the pictures and needless to say, the Bills made a good choice in more than the talent department. At 6’5 and 240, Nelson is considered the best player we’ve had at this position in years and his speed makes him a match for linebackers. If his stand-out college numbers hold true in the pros, Nelson could be a powerful weapon alongside Terrell Owens and Lee Evans.
We closed out draft 2009 with three more defensive backs: back-to-back Harris’ (catchy nickname pending) from Oklahoma and Southern Cali, respectively, and Ellis Lankster of West Virginia.
