Hit It and Quit It…11-0!!!!!!!!
After a win like that What’s to quit?! I’ll find something I’m sure. But this Titans fan/Peyton Manning fan is happy happy happy today! It’s setting up for a HUGE AFC Showdown between the Titans and the Colts next weekend. But I digress.
Hit It:
- Pierre Garcon. Frenchy is making great catches all over the place.
- The Colts are AFC South Champs
- Another miracle comeback
- Joseph Addai. He always contributes. He might just get honorary Hit Its for the rest of the season.
- Rarely do I even TALK about punters but Pat McAfee keeps opponents really really deep in their own territory on every punt. Love him.
Come out of that food coma Peyton…it’s time to play!
I’m sure the Mannings had a great not so great Thanksgiving. Daddy Archie, Mom, Cooper, Peyton and their families all tuning in to watch baby bro Eli play on Turkey Day. Oops the Giants got throttled by the Broncos so now once again MVP Middle Brother must save the weekend.
This will be no easy task for Perfect Peyton as he takes on division foe Houston Sunday afternoon. Indy holds a three-game lead in the chase for the AFC’s top seed and its 19-game winning streak is the second-longest in NFL history behind New England’s 21-game run from 2006-08. However, it seems to get harder every week to keep winning. The Colts have won their last four games by a combined 10 points. YIKES!

I must say I held my breath as Kris Brown lined up for a 42 yard field goal that would tie the Colts and Texans at the end of regulation. I wasn’t scared that the Colts would drop out of the ranks of the unbeaten. I wasn’t scared that our playoff hopes were dashed. I was simply afraid of having to explain that yes…the Colts lost to the Texans at home.
