For those of you who missed the video recap, I thought I’d share some of my fun photos with you. That’s right, I’m like that co-worker you hate who insists on showing you every picture she’s ever taken of her baby because yes, the Super Bowl experience was my baby. I want to hold it and squeeze it and love it name it “Drewsilla.”
Black & Gold Super Bowl Countdown: Stand Up and Get Crunk!
It may only be T-3 days before the Super Bowl, but this chick already has her game face on! I woke up this morning and put on my Who Dat CD, which features nostalgic hits like “I Believe” and “The History of the Saints.” Once the heart rate got up, I kicked things up a notch by checking out K-gates’ Official Black & Gold (Who Dat!!!) Superbowl Edition, featuring the Ying Yang Twins. Now that the mood had been set, I watched a replay of the Saints winning field goal over the Minnesota Vikings, complete with partying on Bourbon St. Needless to say people, I’m about as riled up as a rabid dog. Don’t eff with me!

A Message to Saints Fans: Get a grip
When they won their first 13 games, you were wearing blue socks, watched the game in your kitchen, and had eggs for breakfast. After the Saints loss to the Dallas Cowboys in their 14th game of the season, in a moment of quiet reflection, you came to a shocking realization: you had cereal that morning. It’s a thought that made you hang your head in shame.
The Chicks on the Tube
The Chicks have made the evening news…and this time it’s not for a drunken bar fight! Our Saints love is getting some recognition from the ABC26 TV station in New Orleans. Reporter Sheldon Fox (a definite candidate for Sideline Sexy…if he actually worked the sidelines) featured our website in a report on fans who traveled to Miami for the Saints dramatic comeback win against the Dolphins. So why did the Chicks get a shot in the spotlight? Check it out for yourself!
If this isn’t a sign of a future black and gold Super Bowl, I don’t know what is!
