Battle for the AFC North: Steelers vs…..Bengals??
A few months ago, if you had asked any sports pro/analyst/fan who would duke it out for the #1 spot in the AFC North, 98% of you would’ve said Steelers vs. Ravens. Errr…nope! It’s the Steelers and the Bengals, the same Bengals who went 4-11-1 last season, the same Bengals who the Steelers have dominated for the past decade. Both teams suddenly find themselves at 6-2, and this is a must-win for the Steelers to ensure that they have a game to play past January 3.
T.O-h no they didn’t!
If Terrell Owens acts like T.O. during the game (or after), the media attacks. If T.O. is nowhere to be found and Terrell is calm, cool, collected and silent, the media attacks. What do you want from him?! As Terrell’s biggest supporter/spokesperson (that he doesn’t know about), I must request that you (yes, I’m talking to you ESPN and all other sports reporters out there) leave the poor guy alone.
Saints Chick Chow: Cincinnati Chili and Ocho-no-no Dogs
Well, it’s that time of year again when I brush off my cookbooks and delight you readers with game day recipes. Our first preseason game will be against the Cincinnati Bengals Friday night who will have in tow their tweeting star Chad Ochocinco, the Poet Laureate of the NFL (well, at least in a 140 words or less.) What better way to kick of the season than with chili and hot dogs? With Greek and eastern cultures heavily influencing urban Ohio cuisine, you will see that it even spills over to quintessential American cuisine.
So, loosen your belt and get ready to dig in….
