The Triumphant Return of HIT IT! and Quit it
It’s been a while since any Tennessee Titan (with the exception of the NFL’s leading rusher Chris Johnson!) has done anything Hit It-worthy, so I’m especially excited for Tuesday this week.
Hit it: O-Line! This week, the offensive linemen gave V.Y. great protection – he was accurate, he ran for 32 yards, and most importantly, he wasn’t sacked or forced into throwing a dumb interception. The group helped Vince get some confidence (thank goodness) so he could lead the team to victory. They also blocked for Chris Johnson (who is also obviously Hit It-worthy) as he ran for a monster game.
Hit it and Quit it – Opening Week Style
Hit it – Kenny Britt! I’ve had a good feeling about him since the Titans drafted him, and his performance against the Steelers showed promise. Sure, he had a couple of not-so-great plays (come on, you can’t blame him for that INT… Polamalu is a beast and made a killer play), but 4 catches for 85 yards in his NFL debut? Finally we have a receiver to get excited about!
Quit it – ROB BIRONAS! He screwed up my fantasy game big time this week. What happened Rob?? You’ve always been such a clutch kicker… this better be first week jitters. I’m expecting lots of points from you sir, so snap out of your week 1 slump ASAP.
