Hit It and Quit It Tuesdays

Hit it!
Reggie Bush takes a lot of *bleep* from Saints fans (including this Nola Chick on occasion) about not being a productive enough member of the team. On Sunday in St. Louis, he was about the only offensive player producing plays that didn’t make me want to hide in my dog’s crate.

Quit it!
To Drew Brees, (all together now ESPN MNF crew), “C’mon Man!” I know missed assignments have caused problems for our quarterback over the past couple weeks but our quarterback has also caused a few problems all his own. We can’t keep waiting until the second half for the offensive wheels to get in motion. And no, I’m not being hard on our MVP. Drew agrees with me wholeheartedly.

Whoopin’ the Raiders: A Brees

If preseason were a precursor, I’d already be booking my plane ticket to Miami for Super Bowl 44. After all, my Saints now sit at 3-0 after putting a record breaking 45-7 butt kicking on the Raiders in Oakland. Saints QB Drew Brees looked like he could have completed a pass with both arms tied behind his back. And the way the Raiders’ defense looked, I’m surprised he didn’t give it a shot. Brees went 14 of 17, passing for 179 yards and two touchdowns.

The Spring Brees

It’s not even football season and yet somehow, Drew Brees continues to impress.

Not only is our sexy QB hosting a celebrity concert to raise money for his charity, the Dream Brees Foundation, but he’s also been tapped to receive a JB Award. The awards honor players for their contributions to the community and their individual efforts on the field. According to nola.com,
