Bills in T.O. … let’s go!
Ahh is it time for football again already?! I’m not complaining–football three days a week is better than two–but I hope the Bills are more rested than I am. Facing the Jets in Toronto at a sold-out Rogers Centre, I can only hope we have a less agida-inducing version of the last match up, with the same outcome plus a larger gap between the score…aka let’s win but let’s win big.
It’d be nice to squish the fish
If we don’t beat Miami on Sunday, I think I’ll be ok. Don’t all keel over at once now–this is all part of my new attitude and approach to the rest of the season. Last week’s gameplay was incredibly encouraging and if the Bills can continue to improve, that’s all I’m expecting and looking for. However, as I’m always an overzealous optimist, no pre-game post would be complete without grasping at a few reasons why we could win (anything is possible!)
Week 12, Miami at Buffalo: Don’t Look Ahead!

The Dolphins are 5-5, and with a win over Buffalo and a possible New England loss to New Orleans, they could be in a position to fight the Patriots next week for the lead in the AFC East. But I’m looking ahead, and that’s exactly what the Dolphins must not do.
I’m not going to go into an in-depth analysis of this match-up. This is a game the Dolphins should win. They’ve won the last three games against the Bills. In week 4, Miami bested Buffalo 38-10. It was our first win and Chad Henne’s first start. The running game gained 200 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. Playing Buffalo was a shot in the arm. Maybe it will be again.
Bills Chick plays catch-up
What…a…week. Bills Chick’s life has been crazy. Buffalo Bills world is crazy. The NFL itself is pretty crazy lately. So, let’s play a quick game of catch-up so that we can finally get back on track.
Sunday’s 41-17 spectacle against the Titans was eerily, painfully and distressingly reminiscent of the Music City Miracle game (which, by the way, CBS made sure to show a clip of during the game. Thanks…). Not only was the number of times we went three-and-out epically embarrassing, but our defense even seemed to struggle and the fourth quarter…well, we’ll get into that later.
Bills at Titans…sweet niblets!
You know what they say–“When in Tennessee, do as the Tennesseeans do.” And that means I’m going to annoy everyone around me tomorrow by exclaiming in true country fashion with phrases like “sweet niblets” and “ye doggy” all afternoon (courtesy of a certain TV show I might occasionally watch when there’s nothing else on).
The Bills take on the 2-6 Titans tomorrow and all we can do is cross our fingers and hope for the best. We’re coming off a MUCH needed bye week so hopefully during that time:
a) Somebody explained the game to our OLs and taught them how to block.
