Growing up, my Grandmother always told me that if I was going to talk mess, that I had to be willing to stand behind what I said: good or bad. So at the conclusion of the 44-31 Packers victory, only one thing was on my mind…Greg Jennings must face Aaron Rodgers. So they talked...well it was more like Greg talked and Aaron listened. However, it gave me hope that a possible reconciliation was on the horizon. But holding hands and signing “Kumbaya” will in no way, shape, or form change the fact that Christian Ponder is Jennings’ new Quarterback…that is his sad reality. Packers vs. 49ers: Battle of The Quarterbacks

Going into the game, all odds were against my beloved Packers. Last year’s divisional playoffs loss was a crushing blow to the team. However, a considerable amount of time during the offseason was devoted to analyzing this loss…and it showed. While the Packers did lose 28-34 in the end, it was nowhere near the blowout that everyone had anticipated. It was necessary that our defense step up and keep Colin Kaepernick contained, and I believe they did just that. Clay Matthews led that effort with 7 tackles and 1 sack.
