Week 12: The Monday Night Mini-Gasms
Oh wow. Wow. I don’t know about you, but I’m still catching my breath. What the Saints did on Monday night was not just what we fans wanted…it was what we needed. It was a sensation that was long overdue. Whew!!! Oh my…(hands running through my hair vigorously). I can only imagine this is the football equivalent of a weekend indoors with “The Rabbit.”

Just when I thought Gary Gibbs was a walking corpse, he pulled a few tricks out of the old diaper. Or, to quote Jake Who Dat, “Gary Gibbs finally showed some balls…” Kudos to the defensive coach for “puttin’ on the blitz” and clearly getting a message through to the defense that their Pop Warner days were over.
Quit it!
Don’t dangle the Shockey carrot in front of me, only to yank it away. (Yeah, yeah, I know. He has to get healthy, blah, blah, blah…)
