Easy Come, Easy Go!
13 undrafted free agents minus 2 douchebags equals a relatively efficient post-draft offseason for the Saints. Biren Ealy, a.k.a Capt. Flash-a-Wang, and and Kolo Kapanui, b.k.a. Sgt. I.P. Freely, have both been released from the team after their weekend arrests. The pine riders were booked Sunday morning on charges of lewd conduct, obscenity, and disturbing the peace after a drunken incident in a New Orleans suburb.
Luckily, the Loomis doesn’t close a door without opening a window. Three more undrafted free agents have been signed, bringing the total to 13. The new additions include running back Herb Donaldson, Kent State offensive tackle Augustus Parrish and Louisville wide receiver Chris Vaughn.
“Kaes” Closed
It’s out with the old, in with the new, and hopefully less “pass-interferency” for the Saints’ defense. With the signing of Jacksonville’s Pierson Prioleau, Kevin Kaesviharn officially got the Louisana-shaped boot.

Free Agency Update
Our front office folks have been some busy little bees since the start of free agency. We’ve locked up some key players and started wooing players for some key positions. Come this time next week, I could actually get out the words “The Saints are going to the Super Bowl” without a smirk, giggle, fake vomit noise or tear up at the thought of no Deuce McAllister. After the jump, we break down the free agency wheeling and dealing.
Free Agency: Love him or Leave him
The NFL’s version of “Speed Dating” is officially underway. A slew of Free Agents are on the market and there’s plenty of fresh meat up for grabs. But first things first, the Saints have got to decide whether to love the ones they’re with.
Love ‘Em
Jon Vilma, Linebacker: Vilma is among a handful of Saints we don’t want lurking around the free agency pool for more than a few hours. He was one of the best new additions to the Saints’ roster last season and now that his legal troubles are behind him, we predict nothing but good things from this defensive stud in the future.
