Attention all Obama supporters: congratulations! Last night’s Redskins loss almost assures the Illinois Senator’s victory. You see as history would have it, the Redskins success or failure in its last home game has predicted the next president in every election cycle since 1936…with the exception of 2004.
According to ancient folklore (also known as NPR), when the Redskins win their last home game, the incumbent party wins the election. When the Redskins lose, as they did last night, the opposing party captures the victory. But don’t just take my word for it…
