And there you have it…the quest for perfection ends…
It was bound to happen right? The first year head coach had to make a questionable move at some point right? WRONG! I along with the rest of the fans at Lucas Oil Field voiced *ahem* concerns about Jim Caldwell pulling the starters. They were pulled with 5:36 left in the third quarter and that was it for Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark and Joseph Addai and the Colts’ streak. Let me give you a simple math equation. Manning + Wayne + Clark + Addai + sideline = NO WIN. The Jets defeated the Colts on their home turf ending their NFL-record 23-game winning streak with a 29-15 victory.

With their 35-31 victory at Jacksonville last week, the Colts became the third team in NFL history to start 14-0. Coupled with New Orleans’ loss last Saturday, the Colts now stand as the league’s lone undefeated team. So it’s come to this! Start em or sit em. At 14-0, the Colts are two wins away from finishing the regular season at 16-0. Indianapolis has already clinched home field and has nothing to lose if they are defeated by the Jets. So what’s it going to be Jimmy C? He says the starters will play if there are no health issues. GREAT!
Colts stay undefeated…we have yet to hear from Mercury Morris
I woke up this morning and guess what one headline told me. “The Man Does It Again.” They were absolutely right. Once again Peyton Manning showed why he is one of if not the best QB in the NFL. Manning went 23 for 30 with 308 yards and 4 TDs. The Jags put up a valiant effort but in the end the Colts stayed perfect.

With a win over the Broncos the Colts gave me much to Hit!
Hit It:
- The Colts won their NFL-record 22nd straight regular-season game (breaking the Patriots’ record of 21 straight games from 2006-08).
- They have won an NFL-record 114 games this decade (breaking the 49ers record of 113 wins in the 1990s).
- The Colts clinched home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
- Indy improved to 13-0 for the second time in team history.
- Peyton Manning threw 4 TDs
- Dallas Clark caught 3 of those TDs

Colts vs. Broncos…3 more to perfection?
Well the boys in blue got it done on Sunday defeating the Broncos 28-16, breaking NFL records for most consecutive regular-season wins with 22 and most wins in a decade at 114, plus wrapping up home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
